Workshop | Tallinn | March 2019

Tallinn University of Technology, Estonia

March 11-12, 2019

We are pleased to announce that the next meeting of all three Working Groups will take place in Tallinn, Estonia on March 11-12, 2019.

Many thanks to Aivar Auvaart for acting as local organizer of our meeting!

The Working Group meeting will start on March 11 at 10:00 and will finish on March 12 at approximately 17:00.

Prior to the Working Group meeting, on March 11, there will be a joint meeting of the Impact and Stakeholder Engagement Group (ISEG), Sustainability Group (SG) and Communication Group (COMG) starting at 9:00.

Since many of our members were interested in some of the sessions of another Working Group at the previous Meetings, we will have "Pick and choose" parallel sessions of all three working groups on the second day of the Meeting so that, for example, those of you who are in WG1 can go to a session of interest from WG2 or WG3 and vice versa.

Call for applications

In case you are interested to attend the meeting, please fill in the online application form at by Friday, December 21, 2018 at the very latest.

As BESTPRAC is related to best practices in project administration, we will take this into account by not granting any extension of the application deadline and by not considering any late-comers.

According to the rules set by the COST office, participants who are Early Stage Administrators and those from inclusiveness countries are especially encouraged to apply. Previous participation in BESTPRAC activities is not a prerequisite for participation at the meeting.

The decision on who will receive reimbursement will be announced by January 30, 2019 the latest.

Financial support

Approximately 80 participants will be reimbursed.

Please note that the attendance list for the second day of the meeting will be distributed among participants at the end of the meeting. This is to ensure the active participation of all attendees of the meeting. We will only be able to reimburse a participant once they have signed the attendance list.

Applicants should not buy tickets and make hotel reservations before they receive the official invitation through the e-COST system to attend the meeting. Only after having received this official invitation you are entitled to receive reimbursement.

Together with your possible reimbursement for travel and accommodation costs, you will also receive a per diem of EUR 40. As the local organizer does not get financial support by COST for entire boarding, they will charge you EUR 60 for the lunches and the dinner. Payment details for the catering fee will be provided together with the notification of acceptance.

We are looking forward to your applications!
