Expertise relevant to the Targeted Network

Working for the Peace Institute for over 10 years as a coordinator of the international program (East East Beyond Borders Program) and being involved in various international projects, Mojca Frelih gained valuable expertise and experiences on different requirements and standards, needed to support the researchers. Among the projects that she was involved as an administrator and focusing on the financial aspects of the project, where the Peace Institute had a leading role, one could put forward the Prospects for Integration of Migrants from Third Countries and their Labour Market Situations: Towards Policies and Action (PRIMTS) (European Commission, European Fund for Integration of Third Country Nationals, Community Actions 2007, DG Freedom, Security and Justice) (2008-2010).

The research administration within the organization is shared among various persons. The overall responsibility for financial management of the Peace Institute has the director. The director gave full authority to the managing director for financial management. Thus managing director prepares the different proposals and presents them to the director who then agrees or not with the suggestions of the managing director. The project responsibility for financial part is partly taken by the project leader/manager, but always in consultation with the managing director. The secretary prepares all the supporting documents (including the proofs of payments, the photocopies of invoices etc.). The coordination and other administration work is done by the member of each project team.
