Expertise relevant to the Targeted Network
I have been responsible for financial issues with regards to foreign research grants at the University of Iceland, and in particular European grants since 2010. Both pre-award and post-award.
The University of Iceland has around 14.000 students and 685 academic staff. The University is part of over 50 research projects supported by the 7th framework programme. The University is divided into five schools: engineering and life sciences, humanities, social sciences, health sciences, and education. Research administration is carried out at the centralised level through the division of sciences and innovation and at the school level through research directors. The levels cooperate quite closely.
