Description of job and tasks involved
As a project manager I am mainly involved in the post-award phase of FP7 and H2020 collaborative projects. The tasks covered by my position include amongst others the establishment of communication structures, organisation of project meetings, support during amendments, monitoring of Deliverables, Milestones and project progress, controlling of resources, organisation of the interim and final report and support during audits.
During the pre-award phase I support scientists in setting up the work packages Management and Dissemination. Moreover, I give advice on the calculation of projects costs. Within the Grant Preparation phase I support coordinators in finalizing Annex I of the Grant Agreement, organizing the signature process of the DoH, the GA, the CA and Accession forms.
Experience in European research projects
The EU Liaison Office at the University of Hannover is a department of the University Administration, but responsible for 7 research institutions in the region. We are offering an EU advisory service for researchers, working in close contact with the advisory service for national programs. The team is providing individual guidance upon request and organising thematic events and workshops for researchers. Moreover, the EU Liaison Office is a member of the EEN (Enterprise Europe Network), which presents a good network for partner searches. During the post award phase our team can give advice to all questions regarding legal and financial issues. Additionally, we are offering a specialized project management service for coordinators.
