Description of job and tasks involved
I work as a project manager and a research registration administrator (PURE).
My tasks as a project manager includes negotiation and amendments of contracts, coordination and administration, financial management and reporting on obligations as stated in the grant and consortium agreements.
I currently manage 1 FP7 Capacity project, 1 FP7 People project, and I am the administrative coordinator of 1 AAL project & 1 ERC grant.
I also participate in the overall development of research management at the University e.g. testing and developing tools supporting the coordinators daily management of a research grant.
My tasks as a research registration administrator consists in developing and supporting practice for storing/sharing of meta data and data management and life cycle of all research output it being publications, grant applications or externally funded research projects.
Past experience: I have experience with, but I am currently not working with Open Access, management of Danish grants and fundraising (EU and Danish funds).

Research Support Team (RST) is part of Research & Learning Support (RL) at the IT University of Copenhagen. RST handles the administrative project management of research projects in close cooperation with grant-holding researcher and often research partner institutions and/or companies both in Denmark and internationally. RST provides support with regard to planning and follow-up on project activities, financial management, guest visits and organization of project events, and required reporting to funding agencies.
RST also monitors national and international funding opportunities and timely communicates relevant calls to researchers. RST coordinates the funding application process, including a dedicated process to ensure the quality of applications. RST provides support to budget preparation and feedback on formal application requirements according to the calls.
